Shims + U-Bolt Flip kit??

First time post. Here it goes... I ordered the All-Pro 3" leaf lift, U-Bolt flip kit and a ton of other things not important to this post. I currently have the 2" AAL which has given the truck slight vibration in the drive-line from 0-10 mph. Nothing crazy and I know its the lift because when I load the bed and the leafs compress, I don't get the vibration. I dropped the carrier and have NOT shimmed thus far. So, now I am going with more lift and am concerned with additional vibration. Will shims work with the new U-Bolt flip kit? It doesn't seem like they would?

shims go between the axle and the leaf pack. Not affected by U bolt flip.
