Help: Rear ome shocks with icon progressive.

Okay I need some insight guys.

I was about to pull the trigger on a complete ome kit but then figured I could save some cash and put it towards something else.

So I did some research and found that a lot of members are happy with the 3-leaf progressive (be it icon or wheelers). Most of my driving is street so I believe that the dakar leafs would be a bit much. I'm ok with the "cali nose high" look but only when it is very moderate and seeing that the progressive leafs only add 1.5" do you guys think it will be too much nose up?

Also, the question I really want answered.

Will the ome n182 nitro charged shocks be compatible with the 3-leaf progressive pack?

For the nose high: it depends what you set the front hight at.

The OME shocks should work just fine.

 

Yea I wanted a full 3" but I might leave it at 2.5 without the spacer. Too bad there isn't a 2" progressive leaf pack

 

What front lift are you doing?

 

Ome shocks with 885 coils. I'm looking around for a flip kit to go on the rear right now.

 

All-pro is the only one I know of.

 

I'd recommend something just a bit taller than 1.5". Typically these trucks (both gens) have about 1" of rake. If you want get the front done and risk lookin like a bro dozer for a day then decide on the rear. Jack up the truck front and rear and see what you like

 

I at least want the front level with the rear, I think I'd be okay with the front being 1" higher. I'm on the hunt for shackle kits right now, I understand that ato makes them but has been re designing them and they are not in production right now. I tried allpro but my phone acts up on their site. Shackle kit should bring the rear to a total of 2.5 at the most.
