I'm currently running a 3" revtek spacer lift on my 08 DC tacoma with 285/75/16 tires. I want to go with either a fabtech or procomp 6" lift. The dilemma I'm having is everything Ive read so far states that I need at least 17's when I upgrade to a 6" lift. Is there anyway to successfully install a 6" lift while maintaining 16" wheels. I dont feel like replacing wheels and tires that have less ten thousand miles on them already.

Try to sell them privately then, i asked the same question because i wanted to slap a 6" lift in my truck and sure enough, you need 17" rims with proper backspacing
