Help....Bent Alignment Cam Tabs

So I got my 2010 Tacoma all lifted with new wheels/tires and looking nice. Went in for the final touch.....a simple alignment. They end up breaking part of one cam tab and seriously bending and gouging the others, just on the passenger side. I know the bolts weren't frozen in the bushings and the truck only has 4,500 miles on it. So, has anyone had any experience with the TC cam gussets. Also does anyone know of any GOOD Suspension Fab shops around the Rowlett, TX ( East Dallas) area that could bend the tabs back and weld a supporting bead behind them? Thanks

Wow they fucked those up! It took me hitting a boulder at 45 mph to bend mine flat like that haha

Anyways Total Chaos sells some ultra beefy replacements for your truck. THey are $90. You will have to weld them together then have them mounted to the frame by welding them. You have to air chisel the old ones off. Note: this how to do it the best way possible.

If you wanna do it cheap by some 1/4" thick 1" tall flat stock and cut them out and have them welded to the mounts. Make sure you take off your LCAs so you don't melt the bushings

Yeah this shit pisses me off!!! You work so hard to make your things look nice and one inexperienced shop F's it up. This is why I do all the work myself on my truck. "amaes" is it $90 for all 8 to do passenger and driver's side? Thanks

Cool, I'll definately be doing it the right way. Now I just have to find out a way to get "Brakes Plus" to pay for a welderer to install them.

wow, looking at shit like this really makes me scared to get mine aligned. i do everything i can by myself because i'd rather f-it-up myself than let someone else f-it-up for me! I've even been looking into doing an alignment by myself and I've figured out how to measure for and adjust toe, and how to measure camber...but i have not been able to figure out how to actually adjust camber and caster.

The second picture you posted: Is that the mechanism used to adjust either the camber or caster?

I've been thinking that most guys on here say they just get their alignment shop to get them as close to 0 degrees camber as possible, and then they just max out their caster.

Would this be something I'd be able to do? I guess what I'm asking, is if I was able to measure and adjust my camber to 0, could I just max out my caster and be as good as it's gonna get, regardless of who did it?
