Which is the better lift

I want to get a reasonable 3" lift for a 2011 4x4 Sport. One local shop says go with the Ready Lift. The other says go with the Rough Country. The truck will not be used for heavy off roading. Both are similar in price.

 

Don't get a spacer lift! I speak from experience, and others will tell you the same thing. Buy real suspension lift.

It depends man, I really can't say, others here may know the price of Bilstein 5100s (adjustable front shocks) and non adjustable for the rea, with an add-a-leaf. Thats what most on here would recommend for the cheapest(money wise) best lift. I've heard others say that just the 5100s for the front and add a leaf for the rear end up being around the same price as a ready lift.

I had a ready lift before on my 2010 4x4, with the 1 in spacer in the back= crap ride.

...there are two lifts, that are explained by various members with alot of detail.
Of course there are other suspension lifts...but this thread will really open your eyes to the perks of a REAL suspension lift.

 

I have a 3" pro comp lift
new struts, coils, rear AAL and new rear shocks

 

So if I go with the Toytec and stay under $1000 what exactly will i need to order

 

Get the full OME kit. it is everything you need and will have options to choose from. stay away from spacers, i speak from experience.

you could get the ultimate lift kit, but it's over $1000 i think.

EDIT: also check out the Bilstein/Eibach kit. It's about the same price as OME. Check out toyteclifts.com

A "reasonable" 3" lift would be what ^ said.

Pretty much everybody on here has either gone through bilstein or OME lifts. Either one works great. Keep searching and reading. Lifting a truck requires a lot of time and research, understand what you're doing first before purchasing.
