What exactly is 285's and wheel spacers? :) I know he said he didn't want a spacer lift... is that the same thing?

But If you think he would like to beable to adjust his lift, then for the same price as the Toytec coilovers you could get some Icon's that are 10x's better then the toytecs.....
    Just a thaught.....

(its kinda nice to be able to adjust what hieght you want)

No, since you or ready painted his wheels, the 285's (tire size/33's) wouldnt fit unless you got some wheel spacers to bring the tire out away from the Upper Control Arm. So it basically makes the wheels and tires come out about 1" or 1.25"...
and spidertraxs are a good wheel spacer...

K, you would still get all the other lift components from toytec including the UCA's, but instead of getting the OME's in the front. you would get these....http://downsouthmotorsports.com/i-4764003-icon-toyota-tacoma-05-up-front-coil-over-shock-kit.html

They are a little more spendy, but thats bc they are way better, they are adjustable and stronger, and also can be rebuilt for a small fee of they ever go bad.
But either one (OME or the Icon's) he will love and be happy with..... :)

For a quality lift on a budget, go for the OME lift. :)
I think for the price, its a really good option. In fact, I feel like my OME lift rides better than the Icon lifted trucks I've been in and mine was 1/2 the price.

I'd go for the OME, then use the remaining money you're saving and put it toward new wheels/tires. A new wheel and tire package will really make the truck look like a totally new truck than you started with.

So if I were to get these, I would just take the "OME" portion off of the first order, correct?

And would I need to pairs? One for each tire? Or do you normally only put these on the front and back?

    I reallllly appreciate everyone's help!

Pretty sexy, right? ;) I couldn't believe the difference it made! My husband is in the Air Force, and he has been asked twice now when he has went on base "how much did that thing set you back?" ;) Not to mention all the people that tell him how nice it is! :) Relentless bumpers is def the way to go! :) I had it powder coated for him for his graduation present from OTS! :) He was soo happy!

Now y'all keep bringing up new tires! lol How much would those cost for a good pair? He has some that aren't in bad shape... do people buy used tires to off set this cost?
