Need some help with lifting the Taco!

Hey, So I am new to this sight and I have a 2011 DCLB TRD sport, bought it back in December and have loved it ever since. Sold the Wrangler for the truck and it's the best decision I have made.

I am wanting to put a 3 inch lift or higher on it looking for a full kit but not sure what brand to get or where to even start looking, any and all advice would be great!

Also looking just for some good off road accessories/parts websites for Tacos!

Right now I am just looking for good quality lifts, cheaper the better but as for the budget it is not a problem right now.

 

Bilstein 5100 shocks on all four corners. Eibach springs. AAL.

Or a new adjustable coiliver such as icon, king, toytec, camburg. And a new leaf pack in the back.

The possibilities are endless. Let us know an approx budget and what you intend to use your truck for.

 

Budget is looking like 2,500 on the high end. Right now I have been hearing a lot about the RCD lift and liking what I hear about that. But like me with everything, the less money I have to spend for a quality thing I am all for it

 

An Old Man Emu lift, with a full leaf pack, and new upper control arms might do the trick. Or something else from this page *excluding the spacer lifts*.

An rcd lift is going to cost you around 2000$. And install on these lifts are a little more intensive than other non- drop bracket lifts. So factor in install price also.

I'd go with any of the lifts mentioned above.

 

I'm personally not a fan of DB (drop bracket) Lifts so i'd say the Toytec ULK or anything from Old Man Emu

Why don't you like the drop bracket kits?

And with price not really being too big of an issue right now, How good is the RCD Lift?

 

Most people who do a lot of off roaring will say no to a drop bracket lift. It loweres your clearance. Its also a lot harder to convert your truck back to stock (if u ever needed to)

There will also be others that will say the wheel the hell out of their drop bracket lifts. But the general consensus says that a good 3 inch lift is best for your offlroading needs.

If you don't plan to do much wheeling go for a drop bracket lift.
