Just installed 885s and Bilsteins

Hey guys, just thought i'd post up some before and after pics of my truck.
Unfortunately I didnt think about taking before and after measurements. So what you see is what you get, haha.

Stock, the day after i bought it:


Toytec AAL only:



885s and Bilstein 5100s up front:



I also replaced the rear shocks with Bilstein 5100s

Yea sorry. No measurements. Easily 2 inches. It was probably almost 3 right after the install. By now it has settled a little. Probably sittin around 2.5 higher than stock. Perfect for me.

I did not use any additional spacers anywhere. I do have the slight "taco lean" I think. It may have just been my driveway.

I love the ride. And I love bein up a little higher

Hey what set did you put your Bilsteins? 2.5"?
Did you notice any decrease on fuel economy since the lift?? Any vibrations that they are famous for???

I still have stock UCAs. My camber is at 0.7 degrees positive right now. I had to go back for an alignment a second time to have them try and get it as low as possible and 0.7 is what i got which is still within spec. However, I'd like it to be zero, so aftermarket UCAs might be in the future.

The bilsteins are set at zero. I dont believe in lifting or lowering with shocks or with spacers. RIDE HEIGHT SHOULD DEPEND ON THE SPRINGS ALONE.

I'm sure fuel economy has gotten slightly worse. So, its gone from pretty bad, to bad. Its a 4x4 truck. I knew what I was getting into when I bought it. I don't bother checking my mileage anymore. It will only piss me off. lol

Oh, and i did get some new vibes. After my AAL install I got some driveshaft vibes. Now after the front lift, I've got some noises from, what sounds like, the front diff. I DID install the front diff. drop kit from Toytec. However, it seems as though the infamous bearing inside that diff. may have been disturbed and now makes growling noises and vibrations when in two wheel drive. Pop her in four high, and it goes away.

Looks to be about 3" or so. Measure teh center of the axel to the bottom of the fender.

The 885s have settled some. I think Theyre right about where theyre going to be now. Its looks level, but if anything, it might still be a bit higher in the rear.

I'll go take measurements right now...
