Opinion on this lift set-up

I have been racking my brain trying to decide which lift set-up I want to go with, as I don't want to go cheap and regret it later but at the same time don't want to get to crazy either so I want the most for my money. I think I want to go with the Bilstein 5100's up front set to 2.5" with Light Racing UCA's for alignment purposes. In the back, because I have the stock 3 leaf set-up that sux (when towing a Uhaul earlier this year it caused quite a bit of sag) I'm thinking of getting the new OME Dakar 2.75" lift Leaf Springs & a possible DL carrier bearing drop (not sure about this part yet or if I really need it) to prevent vibrations. Please give me your opinion and whether or not this combination of items would be worth my $1100 or so. THANKS!! Jason

This has been covered 1,000,000 times man! That's a pretty decent set up but will want to look at Eibach or OME coil springs instead of pre loading the crap out of the stock springs. In the rear, thats a good pack for hauling weight.

If you don't wheel that much just do the billies at 2.5" and get an AAL.

 

ya the dakars may be a little overkill but i like mine and im sittin at about 2.5" in the front to give u an idea look at my build page. A 2" add a leaf may suit ur needs just fine

 

Awesome, thnx for your input guys! I do not do much "wheelin" and mostly want the look and capability when I do take it off pavement. I have read numerous posts about ppl adding the AAL, and after a year or two being back to where they started because of old factory leafs and I don't want that, thus the reason for considering the OME leaf pack which should keep me in good shape for years to come. I am also keeping my stock sports wheels but upgrading to either General Grabber AT2's or Nitto Terra Grapplers at 265/70/17 to help prevent the TINY factory wheels with 3" lift problem, and wanting the more aggressive tire as well.
