    Is there a front or a back? They look longer to one side? Which way do they go?

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Generally, The longer side goes twards the front. Personally, I put the longer side twards the rear, as the shorter side forward seems to fight axel wrap better.
