Supersprings vs. Hellwig

I'm looking for any advice/experience/recommendations with regards to:

supersprings (http://www.truckspring.com/superspri...uty-ssa19.html); or

hellwig helper springs (http://www.truckspring.com/hellwig-e...pring-981.html).

I have an 08 DC LB TRD Sport that I often use to pull our 20-foot ski boat and haul other gear for work/play. The truck pulls the boat like a champ, but even after having the rear suspension TSB done the rear still sags about 2.5-inches when the boat is hooked up (4,500 pounds full of fuel, toys, etc.). The tongue weight is about 450-500 pounds. This doesn't even include the weight when the truck is full of gear for a week of camping!

I've considered AAL but I don't really have a need or want to lift the truck (maybe level the front with 5100's though), and don't really want to deal with air springs. I've looked through many threads here and it seems like Timbrens may help...but I have a feeling that helper springs may suit my needs better.

If I'm off-base let me know. Could be that AAL, air bags, or Timbrens really are the way to go?

Any help would be appreciated!

I used to have Supersprings on the rear of my Tundra when I owned it and used it as a work truck. I would load 30 bags of concrete mix and would only sag a bit. The SS really help with the weight in the bed keeping it level. It will hold your boat very well. I also had the Hellwig swaybar installed in the rear. The front suspension was Donahoe coilovers and rear was the 5100's HD. It was the best ride I'd ever had. Very smooth and snug when taking turns. I used to have people always ask me at Home Depot what I had in the back of my truck because it didn't sag as much. Don't get me wrong, you'll get some sag but not nearly as much as it would be without. Let me know if you need some pics and I'll try and dig them up. Take care and good luck in your search.

Here are some photos with the SS installed you can't see them and I apologize for not having better pics. Oh the front is lifted 2" and the rear had a one inch aluminum block installed in the rear. The SS lifted it just a bit. The tires are stock so it may look a little funny to you. I had the trialer loaded to the max and the bed of my truck was completed filled with my tools and other junk. This was essentially my entire life packed up (my road trip/divorce run of 06) and I had zero problems with the truck, towing or suspension. I'm local up here too so if you need a hand installing them, just let me know, it's really easy...

Thanks for the info...from the research I'd done the SS definitely looked like they would help...but I just wanted to hear first hand before I dropped the cash on them. I'll probably go ahead and order the SS this week. Do you know of a local dealer that carries them or did you just order them on-line? I'm in the North Bend/Issaquah, WA area. Thanks again.

I ordered them from 4 Wheel Parts in Oregon, it was the best price at the time, I remember asking for a deal and getting like $30 more off, in these times it'd be even better I'm sure. I'm over in the U District, not too far...
