Question When are rear lower shock mount relocaters needed??

I will be installing my 1.5 AAL with the billy 5100s this week. Do I need to order rear lower shock mount relocaters? Are they necessary? If so, why?

Saw a shop use them in a YouTube clip I watched...didn't know if I needed them as well.
