AAL Friction Pad?

Alright so can anyone explain to me what TOYTEC means by a "friction pad?" I just got mine in today and all I can see is circular pieces of plastic on each end of the AALs...also theres some sticky substance all over them...

I guess i took "friction pad" too literally and was thinking there would be a pad that stretched over the whole leaf spring

Yup, they just stop the springs from squeeking like hell. I had mine done when they did my blower motor.

When I bought a set of pro comp aals I made my own anti friction pads. Due to the fact that they do not come with them. Pretty simple, if youd ask me.
