Torque Specs

Has anyone taken the time to look up the torque specs for the u-bolts, leaf spring bolts, bottom spindle bolts, or front shock assembly? It's time to retighten and would feel better knowing what ft/lbs they are suppose to be at.

"U" bolts should be 35#

Cant remember the rest.
Just make sure none are loose and you should be fine.

agreed!

when we installed the new suspension on my 04....we just tightened everyhting down and even so to speak. when i "retorque" my u-bolts after 100 miles, then 500 miles, i'll torque them to 45 ft. lbs...........thats what wheelers called for on mine.

I wrenched mine to 85# when I installed my AAL. I was haveing a "Blonde" moment. Some of the specs for the Tacoma exceed my Torqe wrench 85# max. so I just give it the "Grrrr" Most times, I just make sure they arnt comming loose.
