I haven't gotten it aligned, I probably won't end up doing that until next week sometime. So we'll have to wait until then.

I drove today and it hardly pulls to the left now, feels a little smoother as well, probably because the suspension isn't binding up.

I do feel like there's an issue with either my cv joints or with my front diff. Feels like the bearings binding. I did turn both cv axles by hand with the wheel off and there's a point on both sides where it seems to catch while turning. Not always constant but at a certain revolution. I'm thinking about changing cv axles again and if that doesn't fix it, take it to a shop and have them rebuild my front diff.

Ever do the ECGS bushing? Idk if that'd help at all, just replaces the needle bearing to stop diff vibes

I did a long time ago, that's why I'm thinking it could be the bearings in the clamshell. I turned the passenger side cv axle and I felt it when it "caught" on something so to speak. I only feel it when I turn the steering wheel and take off. I need to do some more diagnosing, I haven't really had time to dig in and figure out what it could be, but I can always eliminate the easy stuff. I don't think I'm having tire rub issues, I would have seen it, but like I said I haven't been looking hard enough. Could be something small like a fly caught in my ABS wire

I got the lift installed today with the LR UCA's. Truck feels like it wanders and feels
like it rolls when I move the wheel left and right. The shop had to send the truck to a different shop due to not being able to align it. I asked for 0 toe, 0 camber, and 2.5-3.0 caster. When they brought the truck back I was told they were able to get those numbers, of course no print out was provided. I'm going to take it to Firestone on friday to get it re-done.

Typical with a lift....need to build some Caster in, and get a bar graph readout to verify results...what setting are you at on the UCA..?

    Yes sir
I'd go back and get the reading, tell them their alignment sucked and you want your money back. Either they should give you the numbers, re-align it and provide the numbers, or you should be reimbursed.

I'd have to check on that, I was already late for work and needed to get going.

I'd prefer the reimbersment... They were trying to align it for close to 4 hours. I'll try my luck at Firestone.

You should be able to get around 3* on Caster with no problem...need to find ashop that understands the dynamics of the LR's capabilities..

Yes. As much caster as possible after 0 camber.

Toe shouldn't be affected by lift so 0.

Idk about your truck since its a 2002, but usually diff drops are not recommended, but it will not affect alignment
