AAL sits too high. Truck not level.

So i just installed a toytec 3 in lift (i.e. 3" up front and 2" AAL in rear). The back end of my truck still sits 1"-1 1/2" higher than the front . Is this normal at first after installing AAL's or will i need more lift in front to level it out? Thanks for the feedback folks.

it could settle a bit over time. when you got the lift....did you do front coils too??? if not....you may be able to get a set of ome coils that will make the front match the rear as far as height goes.

No coils as of yet. Just the bare bones toytec spacers and AAL's. Will the OME coils work with a 3" spacer? Ive read that the stiffest coils provide 2.5" lift. What would that translate to when used with the spacer?

You don't want to combine a 3" spacer and an OME coil. But the rear will most likely settle a little bit. I'd give it a few days and measure again.

honestly, im not exactly sure if its a good idea to use spacers with another set of coils. you may be able to though. the 886 coils are probably really stiff, and mostly used when you are using an aftermarket bumper and winch. maybe a set of omee 884 or 885 coils will be what you need. im sure someone who knows more about it than i do will be along shortly to help ya out.

Well you are 2WD so its not going to effect CV joints.. but your camber is going to be WAY out.. UCA's will be in order and even with those I don't think they will be able to get it with in specs. Figure the OME coil is good for 2.5" now add a 3" spacer on top of that.. 5.5" lift? I don't think its a good idea to combine them. But hey, I've seen worse.

Ya, im not interested in 5.5" of lift by any means. I guess i'd fit in here in san diego though, seeing as the front end would be 3 times as high as the rear haha.

it'll level out somewhat. my 1 1/2" Procomp aal leveled out ALOT. i've got a 3" spacer in the front and then i added another 1" block in the back and its hardly higher in back with my bumper on the front.

make sure after it levels out a bit you go back and check all the bolts holding your AAL. You might be surprised

i dont know what the obsession is with level. the back should be higher on a pick up truck so when u put weight in the bed it is level not draggin ass.
