Review of my lift. 882's on bilstein 5100's

I have a 2001 Tacoma ext cab v6, with a custom tube bumper, weighing in about 65LBS. I've been running Bilstein 5100's with my stock coils compressed on the tallest setting for over a year, and I have been less than impressed. they rode like crap, and were loud over bumps for whatever reason...

I had spoken with a few people that own the OME 882 coils, and decided this was the right choice for me.

I have heard talk of people saying they won't ride as nice as the ome coils on ome shocks because they aren't made to work together. I believe most of this talk is not backed by experience, and I completely disagree, as these ride great together!

Today I had my OME 882 coils, put on my Bilstein 5100 shocks.

I have only driven on the road, but I went over a few larger bumps and I am very impressed! they are quiet and smooth over bumps, lifted the truck to sit level with my 1.5'' AAl, and are not too stiff at all!

I would recommend this as a lift option to anyone!
I will however be adding a diff drop to alleviate some of the cv angle.

Here are some pictures, this is the first day, and I'm sure they will settle some.

Looks pimp man. Wish mine look like that u chimed in on my thread about this setup I thought it rode good to but on my truck was way taller stock front bumper. I even had cv vibes. Maybe my bumper and winch will bring it down. Anyway silver w the black rims is pimpin

Aren't the 5100s only supposed to be used with stock coils, unless they are set at 0"?
