    just was curious what the difference is between the 1st gen and 2nd gen tacomas. suspension wise. like could you use 1st gen coilovers on a 2nd gen and vice versa. and if not, what would be the difference.. also, what could make it work.. if possible..

    Different sizes. Different spring rates. different shock valving.

    possible to retro fit them but would require custom fab mounts.

    why would you want to use parts from a 1st gen on a 2nd gen or vice versa? either way they won't work it will require fabrication welding know how and major balls to pull something like that off and even if you where able to i don't see the point?
