shock replacement

i'm sure this has been answered a few times but here it goes again. my tacoma has a 3" body lift. i'm looking to replace the shocks. can i replace the shocks without having to replace the springs in the front. i would also like to replace all the bushings in the front end as i'm hearing some squeeks and creeks over bumps. if anyone has any info please give it to me. thank you

 

Yes, but you still need to remove the strut then use a spring compressor.

You can remove the control arms yourself (search for threads describing the process) but the bushings are a dealer part and must be pressed out and in by someone with a bearing press.
