Question bilstein ome and what

Ok I plan to get the bilstein 5100's and ome 885 but what else will I need? I mean will I need spacers to lower t-case or any driveline components or will this be a bolt and play kind of "kit" ? OR..... should I just get the pro comp kit ? 95% of the time I drive on pavement but I want a decent set up because I plan to tow a toy box trailer and do light off roading on occasion. Mainly I don't want to have to buy this then that then one of these and so on.... I would like a complete kit. Thanks for your response

Just buy the complete OME kit then? Come with front shocks and coils, rear leafs and shocks... sounds good to me and DSM quoted me at 1k shipped. This is the route I am going and many people swear by the OME kit.

I understand that. But he's purchasing 2 seperate 3" in lift kits. The 5100's and the 885's.
Get the ome shocks rated with the 885's.

I dont think DSM carries the OME's but you might call and ask. Last time I checked the page the 5100's were out of stock anyway. Atleast for the 95.5-2004.

Or go with the 885's and a standard "non-lift" bilstien shock for the front. Extended perhaps. 5150?

On DSM's site they have a ome section. Well I called to get a price quote from them and they said full kit 1,000 thats shipped. And from what I have gathered alot of guys run the ome springs and the billy 5100's set at zero so they have upgraded shocks??? Maybe I'm wrong but your a first gen and I'm a second so who knows.

No, your right. The 5100's set at 0 will be a great ride and lots of people here do that. However...the OME shocks are paired with the OME springs as far as rate and "tune" so you most likely will get a much better ride.

Either choice is a great setup.
