I really want to get lift spindles but do not want to run 285's anytime in the near future and would like to see how 265's would look.

Please only post pictures of your truck with spindles and 265's.

Here are some pics of my truck with MaxTrac 4in spindles and a stock rear. Tires are 265/70/16 but I really want some 285/75/16 even though I know my gas mileage is going to suffer.

Did you have to use wheel spacers at all? And did you ever put the shocks back down to 0?

To me the best daily set up that's capable would be an extended coil over, uniball upper, and the spindle on 265/75s. The tires keep the power, mpgs and IMO the ride quality, also less potential of stuffing and rubbing under abuse. I'm saving up and there is certain ways I can go about it but I think that has the most potential besides an all out LT kit. Anyone have experience with the icon 1.5" progressive spring kit they'd like to add? I'm thinking that and a fox resi for the rear.

And this would be mainly for hauling on dirt trails and mex surf trips. No woods or rock crawling kinda stuff

Trying to revive this thread. Looking to get some maxtrac spindles soon and I still have brand new 265/75/16 toyo at2s. Hoping they won't look too small! Any pics from all angles would be appreciated!

haha good luck, I didn't get any love on the revive. Obviously I went with 5100/885's but I've seen a few pictures of maxtrac's and 265's since then and I don't think it would look too bad. I also got a full 3" out of my lift and I feel like if I had one more inch it would still look good with my tires.

    Sounds nice.

I really don't have a reason to go any larger than I've got other than I think 285s look perfect with a medium size lift.

Somebody come in here and show us what you got!!

Oh it does, when I get 285's I'm either going to get the top plate spacer for the extra inch or just go full retard and get spindles for about, what's that 7 inches of lift haha I'll be in over my head if I do that, literally.

I was running 295/70r17's for a couple years & decided to downsize since I do a lot of highway driving. Currently has Maxtrac spindles with Bilstein 5100's at 0", and a toytec spacer on the driver's side. The rear has 4" tapered blocks and extended 5100s, but there is quite a bit of sag in the original leaf springs from 07. Tires are Cooper Discoverer ATP 265/70r17 on Method NVs.
