Lift Pics

If anyone has pics of their truck with 5100's set at 1.75" & a 2" AAL, please post so I can get an idea what mine will look like. I already have the parts, gonna be installing very soon. THANKS!!

 

Baracuda! You'll have a little more than stock rake with that set-up, you might want to consider 1.5" AAL.

 

Well, I'm guessing it would be a 1/4 inch more then stock rake which I could live with if my math is right.

 

Might be a bit more. The AAL's seem to end up being a little taller than advertised. They eventually settle down but you'll be more than 1/4" higher in the back for a while, especially if you have the TSB leaf pack.

 

I have the 3 leaf pack & they sagged horribly when I pulled a 2500lb Uhaul trailer, I am way past warranty so no luck on getting the TSB. I know it will probably be a bit high in the back at first till it settles, but I don't want to go 2.5 with the bilstein's since most likely I would need UCA's. No money for that just yet.

 

Damn, that thing is squatting! If it makes you feel any better those trailer are like 2,200 lbs empty so you might have been towing more than you thought.

I'm not suggesting you go to 2.5 on the Bilsteins, rather consider a 1.5" AAL vs the 2". Icon and Wheelers Off Road both offer a 3-leaf progressive AAL that support weight well and ride nice. I got just over the advertised 1.5" with mine.
