5100 install

Not much of a mechanic here, just order 5100s and wanna level my prerunner by setting them at 1.75. where can i take them to be installed? i didnt order springs with them so they are not preassembled so it seems like it might be a little difficult for me seeing as im a welder and not a mechanic xD

i bet you could offer your welding services to somebody local in SC. they help you install, you help them weld some sliders to their truck

Check with the local autoparts stores they may install them or direct you to someone who will. They are not hard to do. You can rent the spring compressors from most autoparts stores. Instruction come with them. Just be very careful and follow the instructions as you don't want a clamp to come off. If you need help taking them off the truck go to http://www.readylift.com/ and print out their instructions on installing the leveling kit for your year of truck. You should probably have a copy of the Haynes manual as a reference when working on your truck.

We have lots of south Carolina members. I'm sure if you posted in the north and south Carolina thread someone would be happy to help you out.
