OZ, want to check with you before I install my D29XL, this should be the third leaf in the leaf pack yes?

I only assume this because a distributor's site states to decrease spring rate and 15mm height, remove 3rd leaf

I believe it goes under the 3rd leaf down , becoming the 4th leaf down , it should be fairly obvious by the length though

Old Man Emu suspension: 884x coils, Dakar leaf pack, Nitrocharger Sport shocks. Cruisin Offroad bolt-on sliders. Relentless Fabrication aluminum front and mid skid plates + steel transfer case skid. SnugTop Hi-Liner "Sportsman" canopy. Hella Rallye 4000i Xenon (flood beam).
I've got a 2012 4 cylinder AccessCab 4wd. OME 884x in the front and Dakar in the rear. OME Nitrocharger shocks all around, With a full tank of gas, I measured:

    Front: Left=22 3/4", Right=23"
    Rear: Left=24 1/8", Right=24 1/4"

That measure is with around 500-ish pounds of added weight: skid plates, sliders, canopy/topper, bed platform, dogs.

For reference, the Dakars have the "+" leaf on the driver side and "-" on the passenger side. Trim packer added under driver side front coil.

OZ (or anyone with DCLB who often has a loaded bed) I'm looking at picking up a set of Dakars. Next time you have around 1000 lbs of weight in the back can you measure the height with that load so I can compare it to unloaded. I'm curious how much these springs would sag with my slide-in camper and a full load of gear.

Right now the Timbren SES and my stock leaf pack is about level but probably not as good for ride quality and stability.

    Thanks

What are you running for shocks? OME?

I had 1500lbs of timbers in the back plus my Leer cap and my rear came down approx 1 1/2 - 2"

You should consider the OME d29xl AAL

It's says trim packer on driver's side so I would presume OME shocks since the trim packer only works with OME shocks

Thanks. I'm trying to find a non-air bag solution to having a level ride loaded, not not have my ass up in the air when the camper's out. Can't make up my mind. I don't want more than a couple inches of lift in the front and back, loaded or unloaded.

I've got 25.5" on the driver's side, 26" on the passenger side.

I'm using the 3 degree axle shims from Wheeler's which are a little thicker than the zinc ones from Toytec. I also used 40mil PVC liner between the leaves to stop squeaking.

I'm guessing these two things are why I'm getting a little more lift than most people are reporting.

OME 90021 on the front, and OME 60091 on the back. I think all Nitrocharger, but not certain.

I should add that I took the measurements immediately after installing everything. I jumped on the bumpers and then measured. It has settled significantly since then, so I'll probably edit my post soon after it's settled. I checked last night after installing longer brake lines and it was down to 23.5 front and 24.5-25.0 rear.
