Fabtech Coilovers

I picked up a set of Fabtech Coilovers this weekend and was wondering what is salvageable. One shock is leaking and the bushings are shot. I picked them up just hoping the top plates would be transferable to my Tundra struts, but not sure upon further investigation.

Is anything useable on these or should I just toss them? I tried T4R.org, but no one uses Fabtech over there. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Hard to tell from the pictures, but they look like the cheaper Fabtech's, which are not rebuildable.

Keep the top plates and the rubber isolater, never know when you can use those.

You might want to PM a user named 4WD for Tundra compatibility. I belive he's using Tundra 5100's on his 1st gen Taco.

Thanks for the response. I got them for free and was just looking for the top plates, but the studs look like the are part of the top plate instead of replaceable like the factory plates and studs. I need extended studs for my Tundra struts and I'm not sure these will work.

I'll give 4WD a pm about the compatibility.

Those studs will come out. You can see the splines at the base where they go into the top plate. After you get the top plates off, soak them with some PB Blaster, put them on some 2x4's and whack it with a sledge.

Sweet, thanks for the help. That is all I wanted from the coilovers, so unless someone wants the rest its going into the trash.

Are the coils even reusable?
