They fixed the issue i had with them, I don't see the play I did before (you know.. you took video lol) but I have to address the thump we were just talking about on hangouts
Last time it was a thump but also a really bad squeak...

    I have a few mods
Yup, I had a horrible creaking/pop and a lot of flex with my LCAs. Got rid of my shot rubber bushings and put these in and fixed my issue

OEM Toyota. I found a pair on CL brand new for $150. Finally got to drive it today and no more noise and drives much better. I guess the other set were shifting around from the loose front bushings. I marked the alignment cams before taking it apart but the wheel is a little off and it pulls slightly to the right now so will go for another alignment soon. Guess marking the cams isn't a guarantee of things going back exactly where they were.

I'm sure I'm experiencing the same problem as everyone else with the Moog bushings. I will attach a go-pro this weekend and see whats going on for sure.

If it's the bushings I'm going to go with the Energy Suspension kit.

You probably don't even need to go through the go pro step. Get under your truck and check the front bushings on each side. If their outer flanges aren't pressed up flush to the lca, there's your problem. Maybe I'll press the rear bushings and lbjs out of mine and sell 'em as a stripped set for someone to refresh and swap right in.

interesting, now I wonder if the complete LCAs that come with moog bushings and lower ball joints would be bad and cause the same issue. I figure if I can replace the whole LCA with a new aftermarket OEM replacement LCAs that comes with bushings and lower ball joints already assembled for cheaper and less of a PITA than changing out the bushings and lower ball joints. I just wonder the quality of the LCAs and the bushings/lower ball joints that are already assembled in there. Sure would be easier than messing with all the pressing out/in of everything.

My truck has seized alignment came too. I plan on buying oem lca's. It's expensive but it will save a lot of grief and I only want to do it once.

Agreed. It seems expensive (and I admit, that's why I bought the moogs first), but you'll do the job once. Now I've redone the job, throwing out the moog bushings and paying for a second alignment. As I said in an earlier post, the oem lcas come with lbjs too, so one more pita job not to worry about for a long time. I'd recommend buying the oem cams and bolts too. If you're local to me I'd be happy to lend a hand if needed.
Yes, NNJ. Might be the same guy but I had no probs. He responded same day and I picked them up the next evening. Only 20min from me and by a friends' house so go to visit a buddy same nite.

well I guess the way I look at it is if I am replacing OEM Lcas at 40,000 miles then maybe buying them again isn't worth the premium vs some other brand. :notsure:There are many not just moog brand.

Well I'm reporting back with my findings. I installed the Moog bushings in January of 14 when I rebuilt the entire front end and have put less than 5k miles on them. I noticed the clunk/pop a few months after installing the bushings. It started happening only when I backed out of my driveway but then I noticed it a bit more ie: pulling in and out of parking lots & while wheeling mostly. The last trip to Rausch in April of this year I noticed it was getting significantly worse (that was the ultimate test for it).

My first instinct was a loose LCA bolt but they were still tight, second guess was a LBJ but that was nice and tight.

I'm glad I found others having the same noise because I was loosing faith in diagnosing the problem. I've always had good luck with Moog parts so I wasn't thinking the bushings. Well I mounted the Go Pro tonight and here is what I found ....

so what's everyone doing, ditching the front Moog for OEM & keeping the rear Moog?

I am thinking about dropping $200 on OEM bushings & never having to remove the arms again :notsure:

Yep, except I left in the moog rear LCA bushs, they seem fine.... For now.
