Yet Another 5100/TSB ? from a new guy

Hey guys,

I have a 2011 DC TRD OR and I just ordered front 5100's from DSM. I talked to my dealer about the TSB and they said they would do it, but to do some research because 8/10 people came back and said it was too rough.

So, I was going to just install my 5100's on the front and wait but now I think I might get the TSB done too so the truck isn't nose high at 1.75". My question is are the rear 5100's worth the money? I don't mind my truck being a little firmer but I really don't want it to ride too rough.

I've lurked for a while and I did some searching so I know that yall are all for the TSB, I'm just not sure if the 5100's will help out much in the rear?

Thanks!

The 5100's give a better ride than the stock HD's.(The HD's actually ride stiffer IMO)

And as far as the TSB, IDK where your dealership's getting their info. Kinda just sounds like theyre trying to scare you away from it- after the TSB on my 2010 it did not ride rougher at all, and I havent heard others complain about it either.

I did 5100 in the front @ 1.75 and the tsb rear springs and love it, the truck even handles better but the tsb springs do take a few months to soften up.

I literally just drove home from getting the TSB done.

I've got Eibachs in the front with 5100s set at zero and the TSB leaf pack with 5100s in the rear. My opinion could be subject to change, as I've only got about ten miles on the setup, but it feels great so far. The ride is firmer, but not harsh at all.

Thanks for all the feedback! I think I'm gonna go ahead with the TSB and give it a little while to settle. Then I'll decide on the rear 5100's
