Lift on 2WD Access Cab?

I am fixing to purchase a 2012 2WD Access Cab. I want to put a lift on it. Should I do it and how much if any gas mileage would I lose if I do. Also, how much would it cost to put a lift on it? Any suggestions on how much of a lift I should put for this type of vehicle? Or should I at all?

If it's a six lug it's easy with many options.

If it's a 5 lug what's the point?

If it's a 5-lug, your options are Spacer lifts or Long Travel.

Fat Bobs and Readylift make spacer lifts for the 5-lug trucks .
