    Thank you :)

I enjoyed the Icons a lot, I sold my front set up to my coworker for his FJ and he raves about it after coming from pro-comp stuff. Then again it always depends on what you're using it for.

Anyhoo...just so you can see a video comparison, Here is my truck running mid travel icons in front and LT in the back...watch the whoops section you get a good view of the front cycling. Pardon the rear of the truck bucking...hadn't dialed it in yet.

check at about 1:26 and 2:55ish

Very cool. As far as additional parts for the extra travel and angles, is there anything that i missed that you would highly recommend?

Appreciate all the inputs everyone! I have changed my mind so many times on so many different components of this lift. So many options. Good thing i have months to search before i will be done with deployment.

They get a lot hotter a lot quicker than you would think, even with the resi's.

im a big fan of the dunes, so i might end up going with the resi's. I still have time to research. Its a big purchase to be half sure about.

New dilemma: Is it even worth the money for rear ICON res shocks if i use a 2" AAL? I am worried about my rear suspension not being able to keep up with my front suspension (hopping around at speed and what not). Should i just go cheaper suspension like bilstein 5100's in the rear with DAKAR leafs? Any thoughts?

All the LT guys will tell you to build the rear first/better than the front...

Besides going LT what would be my next best option? I am pretty new and have only been researching a few days on suspension set ups, but so far it seems like its way easier to beef up the front suspension. I keep running into posts saying how stiff the AAL's make the rear suspension, especially since i wont have a constant load in the back. I am looking for something thats going to perform well in the dunes.

    Icon/All Pro.....chopped for 35's
A new leaf pack would def be better than an aal. Depends on your budget. Deavers at 1.5" lift are dialed in to work well with Icons front an rear and give you a level stance. Allpro standard 3" lift pack flexes pretty good and should work with rear icons as well, I think they are only $375! My vote would be allpro rear leafs with the icon 2.5" rears and superbumps. The u bolt flip kit allpro sells is nice but the timbrens may be pretty bouncy for the dunes!

If you don't want to go sua and cut holes in the bed, replace your leaf pack with like and alcan or a deaver, and put a nice shock with a resi, fox, king, Icon, tey are all good.

You can use the stock shock mounts or if you are inclined you could set up some custom shock mounts to maximize travel..

I bought my setup from them...excellent customer service. I make an effort to purchase from them when they're carrying what I want.

Probably, yes. I have an AAL, the TSB springs, and after 2.5 years they're shot. OEM Toyota leafs are just shit apparently. Dakars soon.
