I know this is probably redundant topic but curious what others have to say about this setup.

I have a 2004 Tacoma D-Cab Prerunner. This is my daily driver mainly used on the road with light offroading that comes with accessing camping and fishing spots.

Is this a good starter lift?
Front Bilstein 5100 set at 2.5" with stock coils
    Rear Bilstein 5100 with 1.5" 3-leaf progressive AAL (wheeler's)
    265/75/16 AT Tires

Reading other posts sounds like this is a stiff ride on the front because of the preload on the springs at the 2.5" setting. Are there any other complications I may come across with this setup?

New coils will have to come later as I need to save up some more money but if my driving pattern is mainly on the street do I really need new coil springs?
