Procomp 2.25" spacer and 5100s set at 1"

I looked and searched for several threads on this question but was not able to find an answer (SO if it is already out there, I would appreciate the direction but not a storm of replies telling me "it is out there go look for it". If that is your answer please DON'T REPLY.

I have the Procomp 2.25" leveling kit on my 2011 DC OR. When I had the Leaf TSB done, the truck again has a slight rake. If I bought the Bilie 5100s and set them at the 1" setting, would 3.25" be too much for the factory components? Brake lines? CV joint? etc or should it be ok as long as I have the alignment adjusted?

 

seems you dont wanna go over 3'' due to,to much stress on cv's.

Get rid of the spacers and set the 5100s at 2.5. It will be a better ride.

 

Don't do it. I made the mistake of doing it before doing more research. It messed
up my strut tower and my 5100.

I guess it is toss the spacers, install the 5100s at the top setting of 2.5
