What are the stock shocks on a 2008 4x4 double cab with trd offroad (the one with the mountain on it)? I know they are bilsteins because I have spent a significant amount of time cleaning mud out from under it, but what type? I just got the truck in July and I am interested in leveling out the truck so I need to know if it already has 5100s on it! Thanks

Yes, they are definitely the blue and yellow ones! Ok then how much difference in terms of ride is there between the 4600s and the 5100s? And if I put a set of four 5100s on the truck, would I need to invest in anything else to make sure nothing gets broke or gets extra stress put on it? Like coils or anything else

    Thanks for the welcome!

if you go with the eibach springs at .85 you will be roughly at 2.5 or less of lift. if you add a 1/2" spacer to the lift to gain the full 3" of lift you will max out your lca adjustment bolts. From there you will need adjustable uca's to put them back in spec.

Ok, thanks for all the input! I think I'm going to go with 5100s all the way around with the front raised 1.75 to get the level for now, and then when I get enough money ill get the toytec coils to get another 1.6in and then an add-a-leaf in the rear. Would this allow me to run a slightly bigger tire (just the 5100s), or would i need something else too?

Want to reinforce. In all caps.

    CALL DSM.

Marco was very supportive in an idiotic (on my end) issue with a simple install.

Marco and Sonny should provide consulting to American businesses on how to treat a customer.

    They are tops.

    And Ben doesn't work there.
