Also, new UCA's and realignment change the geometry a bit. I went from rubbing hard on the cab mount to rubbing up front instead, possibly because we pushed the caster as far forward as possible.

As for trimming... I got rid of all the black plastic to about halfway up the front side of the fender. Also makes it easier to change the fog light bulbs :D

best pic I can find for example.,...

yeah, i have put 300 miles on it, and removed my sway bar, went through ditches, done it all. and doesn't rub. My old truck with 5100 set up only rubbed when backing up and turning, and my new truck (with procomp) doesnt then either

sorry to thread jack but I was wondering if 285s would fit on a stock trd rear end without any issues? I just wanted to do the 3" spacer in the front

That would be one serious bro lean; not a fan of that, personally...

But, thats neither here nor there. what size 285 did you mean; 285/75 R16 or 285/70R16?

im looking to get a 32" or 33" x 20 tire. I didnt think the lean would be too much because of the current stink bug look.

got my steering stops finally removed and was suggested that i should get new tires with E load range next time...I got D on the ones i got on atm.
They told me it doesnt make any sense, theyve done many tacomas 05 and up with no big rubbing issues like mine ever... Im clueless too, we got the truck up on the lift and see where its rubbing and theres a good 3 inch from the tire and the rubbing as pictured.

is there anything else i can do?

Did you ask why "E" load rating. I'm running a "C" load rating right now and that is stiffer than the stock tires.

Blacktacoma23 If your tires don't rub you can fit bigger tires

It will still rub! The extra flex is only at the bottom, between the ground and the rim!

    Something's weird.

You need to get together with some other Tacoma guys at a mod day or something so you can measure and compare and see what's up.

My suspicion is wheels with less backspacing than expected for their width. But that's just a guess.
