1st gen help: who is running 5100 @ 2.5 fr with OME or Wheeler rear?

Hey guys Im looking for some quick help. I broke a rear leaf so It is prompting me to do my suspension. I am going with 5100s in the front at the 2.5 setting and had ordered the OME Dakar 2.25 lift leaf packs in the rear. The Dakars are out of stock for a few weeks and Wheelers told me that back would sit a little high with them and the their 1.5 lift packs would sit level. I mentioned I run a canopy Nov-Mar and they switched to recommending alcan which is out of my budget. Ideally I would prefer the back to sit close to level or slightly higher unloaded and sit close to level or slightly low with the cap on.

Anyone have pics or comments on how things sit with either
5100s @ 2.5 w/ Wheeler 1.5 leaf packs or
5100s @ 2.5 w/ OME Dakar 2.25 leaf packs

I have searched and came up empty, the only pics of dakar rears were running coilovers or eibacs up front. Since I placed my order I need to know if I should tell them I will wait or switch to different springs asap

FWIW, On my '99 I used to have I ran OME 882's up front with Wheeler's 1.5" full leaf pack out back and the truck sat perfectly level. The 882's gave about 2.5" lift like your BIllie's should. This was on an ext cab v6 manual

How did the wheelers handle weight? Im not concerned if they sit low with a load in them, thats expected but I would like them to still sit decent with the canopy on. Also how long have you run them and have they settled any?

I ran them for about 3 years and they did not sag much at all. I didn't load the bed up too often but when i did for camping and ski trips they handled the weight quite well. What helps them out is they still use an overload leaf at the bottom of the pack where the dakar's and deaver's don't since they're mostly made for sick flexing action. Also, i ran them with 5100's in the rear, made them ride pretty well.
