Since removing sway bar my snapping sounds have gone. I still have the vibe at 60km/h tho. As speed increases the vibe seem to turn into a growl almost like the vibe's harmonics are in phase.

I haven't installed my carrier bearing drop yet. Maybe that will cure the vibe. Also an alignment I'm sure is in check

i've gotten three alignments since lift, paid for one...the other two i just go back and tell them it's wandering to the right...i'm sure some uca's will fix this, but i can't afford new ones right now...so i'm looking for a used set somewhere...hmmm

Removing your sway bar wont "hide" the problem if the sway bar IS the problem. Removing allowed the OP to not replace bushings or whatever it needed or have to run a spacer if it was rubbing the coils. You could try unbolting the sway bar from the spindle to try to eliminate that as the source. Can you get under the truck and check for anything binding or try to locate exactly whats causing the sound? I know it can be very tricky and have had a few strange sounds too until I figured them out.

PS - You have a nice truck, what lift do you have?

I've been down there and had someone turn the steering wheel both ways and nothing while it's idle...I can replicate it by going reverse, turning the wheel all the way to the right...and as it creeps forward and starts straightening out, it does it...its loud and annoying as hell...

thanks, i just have 5100's at 2.5in up front...i have a leaf pack and rear extended bills.. waiting for spindles to install those...i dont like the rake.
