So will my 265/65/17's look okay w/ Toytec Ultimate 3" lift???

Do I have to go bigger?

Less than 10K miles on tires......

you don't have to get bigger tires but considering how dumb 265/70/17 looks on a 3" lift...your 265/65/17's will definitely look goofy, but that is my opinion.

They may look a little small but change them when they are warn out. If you have the extra cash go bigger and sell the old set.

Lift it and see how it looks, that's what I did. Didn't take me long to move to 285/75/16's. They fit perfect on mine and I have the same lift.

So I called the tire dealer - might get $300 trade in on 265/65/17's MS2 LTX with <10K miles....

Trying to buy decent tire for <$200 per tire...that will mount on my stock Sport 17x71/2 Wheels......Looking @ 285/70/17....gain a little over 2" just about a 33" tire.....

Check this taco out .Toytec U.L.K. , Toyo 265-65-17 AT's . Needed winter tires first (OEM dunlops kinda suck in snow). Got lift after tires . when these wear out I'm goin' a little bigger.

I would get something more agressive than those.

so why not 275 70 17s? Im running them. You can get the TKOs in that size. and use stock rim.

Looks like I'm upsizing to 285/70/17...still deciding on which tire and trying to stay under $200. Gonna get TRD Center Caps for this look (just borrowed this from another TW member)...

285s are not going to fit on your stock wheels without spacers.

I wouldn't trade them for $300, I'd keep them and resell them. You most likely paid close to, if not over $200/tire for those Michelins, sell them off on here or Craigslist rather than getting rapped on the trade. I'd imagine you could get at least $400 for the set of 4 on the low end. Michelins ain't cheap!

Won't fit without spacers???? Even with the lift??? Where will it rub???

I called my wheel and tire guy and he said the 285/70/17's would go on the stock Sport Rims......he didn't mention spacers....

I'm open to recommendations, but do you have experience with this one?

The tire will rub the spindle.

Thanks...just dropped Toytec a line to ask their recommendation for spacers with the 285's on stock Sport wheels. I'd rather do this right the first time than have to fix something later! TW is a great place to find out stuff like this! Can't wait for Christmas Vacation to get this installed!!!

It looks like Toytec sells 1.25" Spidertrax @ $99. /pair - is there something comparable for any less $$$?
