Leaf spring troubles

    Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not leaf springs off of a stock 98 tacoma trd would be universal with my 97 tacoma LX. manufacturer date 05/97.
    If not where could I buy a new set of leafs for a relatively reasonable price. I got a quote from Toyota and they wanted $500 plus for the passenger rear and $470 for the driver rear.
    any input will help thanks

    I had a '99 Xtra Cab PreRunner SR5 V6
    No, they won't fit. Only springs from 95.5-97 are interchangeable. Likewise only springs from 98-04 are interchangeable. The earlier springs were a few inches shorter than the later years. Check out the link below for some good springs.
