I understand that its going to be a money pit as I already have one of those... my street/strip drag car... I don't know how much I've dumped into it already but you always have to start somewhere... and I'm not trying to build a full out race truck... just something I can play around with for awhile...

If you just want to play around, mid-travel may be more your speed.

I'd suggest you keep researching for a while.

That's what I've been doing and that's what I'm gathering parts for lol.... Dr coilovers, TC UCAs, Deavers leafs, extended travel shocks and possibly extended shackles along with the flip kit... all of that equals mid travel right?

Depends on the whoop. In any event, we're getting sidetracked.

Indeed we are. @ TX Pro, I'm sure RJ, Mr. Andrews, and I can confidently say the way for you to go is a well built mid travel set up. If you desire front end lift before you get spindles, you can pre-load the shocks (adjust up), and lower the psi to compensate for the potential rough ride. You may add/remove nitrogen many times until you find a psi that you find suitable for on/off road use. In my experience (and please anyone feel free to contribute on this) I have found that 180-200 psi can serve as a good test range. Also, you can adjust ride height on your passenger side to level out the "taco lean". As far as your rear end goes a leaf pack should be fine w/o the need for the flip, and a nice set of extended travel shocks. Many mid travel folk run the Icon 2.5's with great success, as well as Fox. You can expect to have to budget roughly 4-6k to have a complete set up. I bought my (front end) kit a year ago to date, and it has yet to let me down, oh and I got it for $1,400 bucks  hope this helps man. Oh. BTW. Let's see some pictures man :D

I don't have any pics just yet cause its still stock... I've been collecting the parts so I can throw them all on at once... so far, all I have left is a good set of rear shocks and some good tires... well that's the plan for now... I guess I'll call it stage one lol...

But I'll get some pics up asap, how it sits now and after stage one! :)
