Recommended by Springs for 5100's

Hello, newbie here. I am looking to lift my 09 double cab 4wd TRD Sport 3". I am planning on using the 5100's all the way around. My question is what springs would you recommend in the front with new Una's and what would be the best route in the rear for the truck to sit level? Add a leaf or complete rear leaf set? My budget is $1000 not including the UCA's. Thanks ahead of time!

are you planning on adding an aftermarket bumper in the future? do you have any plans for off road. if you are keeping your taco stock or near stock then the OEM springs will be fine and light off road duties such as staying on fire roads/logging roads only. if you start to add after market bumpers and other armor then i would suggest in getting aftermarket springs from OME (Old Man Emu) since they offer springs in a higher spring rate as compared to stock springs.

Are you going to put on a plate bumper? If so you could go with OME shocks and 886 coils. If not you can run 5100s with 885 coils which will give you almost 3" or you can use Eibach coils with the 5100s at .85 and a .25" spacer and really push the 3" mark. As for the back I'd go with a 3-leaf progressive AAL.

I do not plan on going to a heavy bumper. As far as off roading I only go through logging roads during deer season. I am more for a little better stance and maintain as close to a factory ride or better. It isthe a dailylittle driver. 285's are my tire size goal. With the 1500's set at. 85 with a .25 spacer and stock springs I should be pushing 3"? With the 3 leaf AAL's installed it should be sitting pretty close to level? I just want to have it set up right the first time and I do not mind a little extra work or cost if that's what it takes. Thanks for the advice!
