so i did a bunch of research i read through at least 100 posts and still cant decide but im picking up a set of 885Xs and wondering what shock to go with 5100's or OME. I know people run both but figured id ask. any pro's or con's from running one or the other? DO they both give the same amount of lift?
and if anyone can post pics of there ride with 885's with OMEs or 5100s that would be great

also where can i buy a set of OME's i only see them paired with the springs

    thanks
    Eric

How much lift are you looking to get?

the shocks themselves do not give lift, the lift you'll be getting is from the 885's (Rated for 1.75" on 2nd gens)

the 5100's give lift by changing where the coil perch sits on the shock, adding pre-load to the coil to give lift- but if you have a lift coil it's not really necessary

usually people go with the OME shocks paired with the coils because the shocks are valved better for the coils

OME is a good option........or look into toytec's 3" lifts. Basically uses an eibach coil with the 5100 and they have a pre assembled set ready to bolt in!
