I recently got a 6 inch suspension lift kit installed on my 2011 Tacoma. The lift kit is by Fabtech and from what I have read the kit is supposed to be pretty good. I also have 35 inch Nitto Trailgrapplers on the truck as well. There is noticable difference in turning radius now and when I turn the wheel fully to the left or right, there is slight rubbing. The noise is not too bad however I am wondering with a 6 inch lift and 35 inch tires should there be any rubbing at all and should the turning radius be reduced a lot. I am going back in this week for any final adjustments and to make sure everything is still tight after the first 500-1000 "break in" period with the new lift but was wondering if anyone is or has experienced the same issues.

I think I've heard that 6" lifts include steering stops, in which case yes your turning radius is larger.

Rubbing should be fixed up by trimming and/or different wheel offset.

Some tires are so big they're going to rub no matter what.

I know you'll lose ur turning radius . Rubbing depends on ur back spacing .

Thanks everyone for the replies. If I am not mistaken, the offset was supposed to be zero (0), which the installer told me there would be no rubbing. Its not really to big of an issue but it would be great not to have the rubbing. In either case, I really like the look and feel of the truck. I am not sure if you saw the photos on my profile. I am new to the site and still trying to work out the kinks with my profile.

One last question - for now - Does the picture of my truck show up on the profile when I post a question and if not does anyone know how to make that happen. ???

    Thanks
