There's no info on them either, are they 884, 885 or 886? Exactly how many miles on the shocks? and make sure they're the x version so they won't sag over time (or have sagged already). Personally, I think anything over $250 is way too high for that set up used. I know things in Canada are more expensive so maybe go to $300 top dollar but I'd need a lot more info before committing that kind of money.

    Hmm, seems fishy.

I asked him how many Km, and he said I had em on my truck for a month of street driving, but he bought them used from someone who had emm for 6 months.

So 3rd hand? I think I might just buy new lol.

Yeah, but I can get em shipped here from the states for like 400 new. So that's not really worth it.

    Also true.

I found a pair of used 885's on CL for 100 bucks, might try and snag those for 50 bucks, then buy billies all the way around and an AAL and call it a day :D

EDIT: The 885s I found have approx 2 thousand km on them, and have been on the truck for 3 months. He got an ARB bumper so he's upgrading to 886's. Sounds kinda legit?

I'd try to find out if they're the 885 or 885x coil. The older 885s sagged over time, the new 885x are made differently so they resist sagging more and will last longer. Although, if you can get them for $50, it's hard to go wrong...

Oh true, good point, I don't want sag... I would rather pay the extra hundred then have sag.

    Here is the ad: http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/rds/pts/2648065475.html

he gives the part number, so it may be possible to find if it's the X or not

EDIT: so found this website: http://downsouthmotorsports.com/i-6815947-ome-2nd-gen-tacoma-coils.html
and it says, " Scragging before and after shot peening to prevent sagging"... Does that imply they are 885x? Since it doesn't actually say 885x anywhere.

I'll let someone whos got the new coils chime in to tell you how to tell the difference with the part number. I thought there was an X at the end of the part number but DSM doesn't list it on their site either. If you can get them for $50, it might be worth it anyways.

Okay, awesome. Thanks for your help. Hopefully someone chimes in, just want to be sure I get the good ones, because I want to make sure I do it right the first time... Even if I have to save a bit more and wait a bit.
