Weird clicking noises from Shock or UCA.. Help..

Getting some kind of weird clicking when suspension goes up, nothing appears to be loose..


I know the vid drags on. But if anyone could identify anything, that'd be awesome! Shocks are still under warranty.

Did you relocate the swaybar?

i had a noise like that and the problem was on the bottom of the shock where you put the bolt thru. the casing around that ball joint was rubbing on the lca strut bracket. it would make popping noises when the my wheel would be turned and hit bump....it is easy to notice just look and see if the bottom of the coilove is seated straight in the lca bracket

 

I can't listen to your vid at work, but I had a issue where the sway bar was rubbing against the shock.

 

Matt and I were throwing that idea around as well yesterday.

RJ, Have you checked the shocks and sway bar for any signs of contact against each other?

 

Did you make sure to use an Allen to tighten the sway bar linkage? I had a similar noise last week after installing 5100's and didnt use an allen while tightening the swaybar linkage. Fixed after I took the wheels off and retightened with an allen.
