walker evans coilovers good or bad????

    how are the we coilovers and rear shocks? i heard that there are some issues with them. if there is can you please tell me what they are? also does anyone have them and like them?:confused:

    alot of metal, small engine, decent travel.
    caged, camburg long travel, 50t leafpack (soon to be installed) light rack over cab, 5pt harnesses etc
    cools oil faster, and holds more of it. well worth it if your gonna be driving fast through the desert

    I had the reservoir 2.0 shocks and there were really nice. The remote reservoir ones allow you to adjust the dampening with a dial without any tools. Great for quickly tuning when changing terrain.

    I have the WE's non-resi 2.5's front and rear on my truck and I love them.

    If you do get them, get aftermarket UCA's as suggested with any other lift

    yeah that is what im thinking about getting right now. is $950 about right for the we 2.5 rear without res. with a 3" allpro leaf pack and $995 for the we 2.5 coilovers.

    It'll fuck with the CV geometry. Leave it under 3" unless you want to replace CVs on a yearly basis.

    You truck will ride like trash with that much lift. Lift around 2.5" so you still have some droop in the suspension so the whole truck doesn't drop down when you hit potholes.

    If you want more lift beyond that, go with the spindles as you already mentioned.

    If your going to get spindles just set them for no lift and let the spindle lift you up

    Yeah I'm running the WE 2.5 non-res coilovers in the front and allpro 3" leafs in the rear with 5100s. I love em. No problems yet. And the more you crank the coilovers down and compress the spring the stiffer ride you'll have.

    I think anything over 3" it's probably best to replace them. Especially if your gonna be flexing a lot.
