washers for Carrier Barring drop

    what kind of washers am I looking for for a home-made carrier barring drop? ex. square? outside length? inside diameter?

    I remember reading that some people just used spare washers found around the warehouse. If so I would assume they're square. Is that OK too?

    I belive you can get square washers at hardware stores. Run a string from the front to rear lower edge of your drive shaft, and pull it tight. I did that and found the CB was higher by ecactly 3/8" so the OME CB drop worked perfect for my application. If you get a measurement you will know how much of a drop it will take to straighten things out. Let us know how she goes.
