OK, so I had some Bilstein 5100's put on several months ago (w/stock springs) set at 2.5". I also installed a 2" AAL in the rear of the truck. I do ALOT of highway driving & I drove it over 800 miles post lift, not really noticing TO much wandering goin on without replacing the UCA's. I did however notice some off and on and it wasn't a good feeling to say the least, especially above 70mph. So I'm considering lowering the 5100's back down to 1.75" instead but keeping the 2" AAL in the back. I'm wanting opinions as to how this will look and if anyone else has this set-up on their trucks and the results? I figure it will be much cheaper to do that instead of getting new UCA's and the ride without as much preload in the front will be that much better. I know typically their is around 2" rake stock on a Pre-runner so with the front up 1.75" it would only be 1/4" more rake. Also, with settling after awhile, it will be even closer to stock in time. Thanks for any advice/opinions!

Well that is what I planned on doing initially, but they are pretty expensive and I don't have the funds just yet. I am wanting to find out if anyone has theirs set up with 5100's at 1.75" and a 2" AAL and if so how the truck performs/looks with that specific set up. For now that will be the cheaper route to take & be safer driving at higher speeds. Also, if it don't look like WAY to much rake in the back, I might just keep it that way for good.

It would look almost identical to stock rake.

Ya think about it , lift the front 1.75" and lift the back 2"

Only 1/4" more rake than stock

Thanks Buddy, I said the exact same thing in my original post, lol. I was kinda hoping for some pics of other ppl with a similiar set up. I have researched it & only came up with ppl that have the TSB & 1.75" in the front which is probably similiar and it looks pretty good. Thanks for your input!
