You should have received an instruction sheet.
I think it's 120 ft lbs......verify that.

I'll attach the .pdf

It will also show how to "clock" the ball joints.
Most are pulling the BJ all the way outboard, then torquing and turning over to the alignment shop.

So there are two motions that you must understand and get correct on each BJ.

If you have a 6 lug and you have a 2-3" lift face the SPC logo directly out.

If you have a 6 lug and maybe 1" of lift try facing the SPC logo one notch towards the rear of the truck from directly out. That is to say if directly out were 9 o'clock try about 7:30 lol or 145*

I had alot of confusion with the ball joint positioning in the charts. Hope this helps everyone. This is after talking to SPC directly.

The install paper:
Assume the grey rectangle in the install picture is the special washer (this is because it has to be square in its slot) and the white behind it is the ball joint itself showing the round and square spc logo sides, the front of the truck is to the right in the picture charts for a-g.

SPC LOGO Facing towards the front of the truck will add -2* caster which is essentially your stock UCA as the arm already has 2* more caster than stock. So 0* change

SPC Logo facing the wheel (so perpendicular to the wheel and away from the vehicle) is going to give an additional 2* caster above the stock uca and is the neutral position for the LR UCA. So 2* change from stock

SPC logo towards the rear of the vehicle gives you and additional 4* caster. So a total of 4* change from stock

You can now see where the adjustments in between add up to using the chart if that helped make sense

The camber is adjusted on the control arm itself in the slot the ball joint mounts too and using the vehicle camber adjustment.

One thing they say will help get the uca adjusted best is to wait to torque the uca bolt until the vehicle is physically back on the ground with tires on per the represntative. I came upon the issue when loading the suspension with the jack on the lca then tightening the uca bolt before putting the tires back on and I ended up with more negative caster than before. Doing the above fixed it. All the forums people say to place the spc logo facing out and i would say this is the best start as it is going to fix most issues people have with a 2-3 inch lift but tighten the uca when its on ground with tires!

Justin

Yes tighten the UCA bolt to the frame after you have the truck sitting at ride height on it's own weight. This puts the bushing in a neutral position. If you torque at full droop then you're putting extra strain on the bushing.
