go with either a toytec lift or a revtek lift. not sure about the 20"s fitting tho, but they should with out any major problems.

Lift
Some help guys! My work is paying for the lease on a Tacoma. What would be the best type of lift that will not be too costly to remove once my lease is up? Also is lifting a TRD off road the same as lifting a regular prerunner?

most affordable effort!!
Here is a small list that you can look up: "Daystar" 2,1/2" coil spacers=$144.00, "Superlift" 1, 1/2" leaf spring blocks= $40.00. Go to nearest suspensin shop and order Ubolts...9/16" - 6,1/2" long suare shaped, etc. They will have a sheet you can fill out on how to measure. $35.00. Park beside a taco with 3" revtec lift and cannot tell the difference. Price for Rev lift around $550.00, price for my lift $219.00

lift?
Make sure the offset of the rim will give adaquet space between the tire and control arm... 3/4"+ should be good deppending on sidewall strength of tire (plies). Remember when you lift your truck, it will change the angle of the control arm and brinng it closer to the tire. There is a lift I have found for 05' and newer Tacomas. 2,1/2" coil spacers by daystar, 1,1/2" leafspring universal LT blocks by superlift, and go down to the susp. shop and get longer u-bolts made. They will give you a sheet to measure with. Still need an alignment. It took me 4 hours to instal myself with coil compressor and a bottlejack. Maintains factory ride and gives clearence and looks. Donot need to change shocks..Total cost $220.00

I've got a lift question to add too. Has anyone that has put the 3" lift and 32or33" tires had a noticeable change in gas mileage? When i lifted and put 33s on my wrangler i dropped to almost 10mpg. and i don't want to risk a big drop like that again.

I have only 32 inch tires and have not noticed any change other than a little noise. I am getting about 540 km in the city and 650km+ on the highway per tank of fuel. I also use 91 premium. I am getting better milliage than my 03' tacoma with 32" tires. I think the 4.0L is not taxed as much as the 3.4L when doing the math as well as the response. Keeping in mind fuel tank size I am happy with what I got.
