Ever since I put my lift on, the passenger side sway bar link won't seem to stay tight. I was wondering what are the pros and cons of taking them off. How much will the front end roll without the sway bar links? It is a 01.

Some people on here take them off and leave them off. Some take them off when they wheel because it allows for better articulation. It does allow the vehicle body to roll during turns which feels a little sketchy for some people. Take it off and drive around and see if you like it.

Yea it is my daily driver. I was going to order new ones from rock auto, btu he said just leave em off. I dont want the wife complaining when she drives or rides in it. They are they sway bars links that have the bolt with the end that has to have the allen key to hold the bolt then wrench the nut tight they are a PITA. Can I switch to the ones that don't need the allen key?

try either some locktite or a new nut. That might help.

Mines a daily driver. Took it off in april. Hasn't been on since. I don't miss it. You only notice it on sharp turns on streets.

Mine's a daily as well. I don't miss it one bit either. Body roll's not bad, even with a 4" lift. Ride quality on road has actually improved also, especially going over uneven pavement.

You'll get a little more body roll and brake dive, mostly when you panic brake. So be ready for that, let it teach you turn smoother and brake earlier.

Aside from that, enjoy gliding over train tracks, road construction and water channels, especially when you hit them at an angle.

So, did the bar stay off? How do you like it? We have the same truck and I'm thinking of taking mine off.

Do it, it's not bad at all! Mine will never go back on and will come off again if I where to buy another! It's easy to oversteer at high speeds but knowing how your truck handles is all part of it!
