You're the first Canadian Taco that I've heard of having the American 2 +1 pack.
Always good to verify before ordering the AAL's.

Look up OZ-T's build....he did a full OME lift (Dakar leaf packs) and is very happy.

Someone should have made you that bet because they are still in one piece! I think most people would be impatient as well if they were half way through installing their lift and then had to wait 2 weeks to get it finished. I'm pretty much without a truck until I'm done because I don't want to drive it without an alignment, and I can't get it aligned until the rear is lifted.

Also, many canadian taco's have the 3 leaf pack, mine happened to have 4, and I ordered the 1.5" aal to fit the tsb leaf pack, but THEY screwed up the order and sent the wrong ones.

Anyway, I'll measure out the ones I have just because I'm curious and see if the arch is the same as the dimensions you gave me. Thanks!

Just measured the arch and it will be 2-3/4" if I were to cut it - same as the Deaver aal.

If that's the case, then ToyTec should expedite the correct pair of AAL's to you or issue you a discount for your inconvenience.

Just show them this thread and they will see that you've lost some (internet) hide over it.

I acutally ordered them from an off-road dealer here in Canada. I'll call them tomorrow and see what they can do for me.

A lot of Canadian Tacomas come from the US side of things ie: from other dealerships. Not all are bought directly from Toyota. If they go somewhere first in the US they'll have the 2+1, not the 3+1.

The only variable then, is the tempering of the steel.
    It will probably be alright.

As a final check, before you cut, check the distance from your existing centerbolt to the leaf clips (keepers).
Mine is symetrical at 16-1/2" per each. 33" total.
They apparently allowed 2-1/2" clearance from the clips for room for the leaf to flex without hitting the clip.

I would want the AAL as long as possible without hitting the clips. I would think that you could get to within 1-1/2" of the clip.
Maybe 4WD will chime in on this.

Thanks for all of the info. I'm going to try to wait it out for the proper leafs, but if it becomes a hassle I'll probably go this route.
